Blocks and Variables organizer - a professional plugin designed for convenient work with the corresponding section of the Site application in UI 2.0. It was created for those who manage a large number of blocks and/or variables and want to work faster, without chaos and endless manual search.

Why do you need the Blocks and Variables organizer?

In the standard UI 2.0 interface of the Site application, blocks and variables are displayed as a simple list. When their number reaches dozens or hundreds, finding the right element becomes a problem. The plugin solves this by offering:

• Four display modes (standard list, categories, search, tags);
• A flexible grouping system with icons;
• Intelligent search;
• Drag-and-drop interface.

This makes content management logical, structured, and efficient.

Main plugin modes.

List. A classic representation of all elements, familiar to Webasyst users. Suitable for general overview.

Categories. The most convenient mode for organizing. Allows you to create custom categories, assign icons, sort them, and see the number of elements in each group. Drag-and-drop significantly speeds up organization.

Search. Works instantly, starting from the second typed character. Finds elements by name and description, regardless of their category placement.

Tags. Allows you to combine elements with custom labels. All tags are displayed with the number of elements, filters are available, and you can quickly navigate to related blocks or variables.

Key features:

• Categories with 60+ FontAwesome icons to choose from. Categories can be renamed, deleted, and sorted. When a category is deleted, its elements are automatically moved to "Unsorted."
• Drag-and-drop for moving blocks and variables between categories. The system saves the order of elements automatically.
• Tags - unlimited number of labels for any element. They can be edited, removed individually, or cleared all at once. Tags allow logical grouping of content.
• State saving. The plugin opens in the same state you left it in last time, saving time when switching.
• Automatic synchronization. New blocks and variables appear immediately, without reloading the page.
• Content width control. In the Site app, the content width differs between the blocks and variables pages, making the interface look "inconsistent". This setting allows you to define a unified width for the entire application, making work more comfortable.

• Compatibility. Fully compatible with UI 2.0, including dark mode.
• Performance. Optimized SQL queries and client-side filtering allow smooth work with hundreds of elements. All actions run through AJAX.
