Banner strip for the Site Builder for Site app

This plugin for the Webasyst site builder lets you add an eye-catching marquee-style promo strip to a page: a narrow banner with repeating text, icons, or images. Use it for discounts, promo codes, free shipping, new arrivals, important announcements, and partner logos.

The strip can be static or animated as a scrolling marquee. Customize the text, image, background, animation speed, direction, spacing, link, and visibility on different devices — all through the familiar block settings.

Marquee banners are a popular technique in modern web design: they add a strong visual accent and motion to a page, highlight important messages, and make promo blocks feel more dynamic.

When to use it

Use a banner strip to:

• show a promo code or discount;
• add a noticeable announcement to the homepage;
• design a seasonal promo page: New Year, International Women’s Day, Black Friday, or a sale;
• display product brands or partner logos as a logo strip;
• create a decorative divider between blocks.

Quick start with ready-made presets

You don’t need to build the design from scratch. The plugin includes ready-made presets, sample texts for promo banners and seasonal campaigns, emoji, and SVG icons. Choose a suitable option and adapt it to your website.

Text settings

You can flexibly style the repeating text:

• use the regular text or heading style from the page design theme;
• bold, italic, underline, and strikethrough;
• font size from the design theme library or a custom value;
• color from the design theme palette or a custom color;
• text rotation at any angle;
• text shadow.

Images, SVG, and icons

Add an image or icon next to the text, or use it separately without text:

• by uploading a file;
• with SVG code and editable color;
• by image URL.

Customize the size, proportions, position, spacing relative to the text, and rotation angle.

Scrolling marquee animation

Make the strip more noticeable with smooth continuous animation:

• animation speed settings;
• left-to-right or right-to-left direction;
• pause on hover;
• option to keep the strip static, without animation.

Block appearance

The banner strip supports key appearance settings:

• link to a campaign, catalog, product, or page;
• background: palette color, gradient, or image;
• block height;
• rotation of the entire block at any angle;
• spacing between repeated text and image groups;
• shadow, borders, and rounded corners;
• outer and inner spacing;
• hiding the block on selected device types;
• block ID for integrations and additional styling.
