What keeps your site out of search and AI answers
5.0 1 rating
Your site loads. That does not mean search engines and AI assistants can read it.
A free check for a Webasyst site: what keeps it from responding fast, from being indexed, and from being quoted in AI answers. For scale: according to HTTP Archive 2025, fewer than half of all sites on mobile pass the three speed thresholds Google measures. The check only reads and changes nothing.
The check runs when you open the screen; there is nothing to configure. What you get is a plain-language verdict on every item: what was found, why it matters, and what to do about it.
The plugin creates nothing, changes nothing, deletes nothing, leaves existing files untouched and collects no personal data.
The site loads for you: from a desktop, on a good connection, out of the browser cache. Machines judge it differently, and their thresholds are measurable. The main content should appear within 2.5 seconds, a tap should get a response within 0.2 seconds, and the layout should not jump while loading. According to HTTP Archive 2025, all three thresholds are met by 48% of sites on mobile and 56% on desktop.
So falling short is not a rare breakdown - it is the ordinary condition of a site that loads perfectly well. And some rules are harder than thresholds: Yandex Webmaster documentation states plainly that a page answering with anything other than a 200 code does not appear in search results at all. An indexing ban, meanwhile, usually sits exactly where nobody looks for it - in a response header that is invisible in the page source.
OpenAI reports 900 million weekly ChatGPT users, twice as many as a year earlier. Pew Research Center tracked 68,000 real queries in 2025: when an AI summary appears in Google results, people click a regular link 8 times out of 100, against 15 without one. In Russia the shift is just as visible - by Yandex's own second-quarter 2026 report, 42% of search queries already receive an answer from Alice AI, its assistant, with 49.5 million monthly users.
What this means for a site owner: people increasingly get a finished answer without opening a single link. But that answer is assembled from somebody's website. The only question is whose.
Search engines and AI assistants

A search engine crawler comes back later if a page did not answer. An AI crawler does not: measurements through 2026 put its per-page budget at one to five seconds, after which it leaves without a second attempt. A slow site simply does not exist for it.
The second difference matters even more. Vercel and MERJ analyzed more than 500 million requests from the ChatGPT crawler and found no evidence that it executes scripts at all. Content that appears only after the visitor's browser renders it is invisible to AI - even though a human sees it perfectly. That is why this audit looks not only at speed, but at whether the text is present in the page itself.
And this is already happening, not coming: Cloudflare Radar data shows AI crawlers request pages hundreds and thousands of times more often than they send visitors back. Your site is already being read. All you control is what they find there.
The usual way
Money goes out blind, with no way to measure the result
With the audit
You know what to fix first and what it will take
Response speed
Caching, compression, protocol version, server resources. Whether the site answers before it is abandoned.
Crawler access
Whether the site is closed to search where it is invisible in the page source, and whether the sitemap is complete.
Machine-readable content
Whether a search engine and an AI model can tell what your site is and what its pages are about.
AI readiness
A site map for AI agents, access for their crawlers, and how fast information about you gets refreshed.
How your link looks when shared
Whether your link unfolds into a card with an image and a description, or shows up as a bare address.
Form and inquiry protection
Which human-or-bot check is enabled, and on which forms it is actually switched on.
Coverage and ownership
How many sites share the installation, and whether every file has the right owner.
Where the link preview is checked
Forms deserve a separate word, because this is where the hole usually is. Choosing a human-or-bot check is not enough - it has to be switched on for each form separately, and those switches are scattered across different settings screens. The newsletter signup form in Webasyst has no such check at all. The audit lists the state of every form. For scale: the Imperva 2025 report found that automated traffic overtook human traffic for the first time in a decade, reaching 51% of all web traffic.
Speed. In a joint study across 37 brands, Google and Deloitte found that improving load speed by just 0.1 seconds raised retail conversion by 8.4% and average order value by 9.2%. Vodafone Italy compared two identical pages where one rendered its main content 31% faster, and recorded 8% more sales.
Machine-readable content. In case studies published by Google, Nestle saw 82% higher click-through on pages shown as rich results, and Rotten Tomatoes gained 25% more clicks after marking up 100,000 pages. Microsoft has publicly confirmed that Schema.org markup helps Bing's language models understand page content.
Visitors from AI. At Ahrefs they made up 0.5% of sessions and 12.1% of signups; Semrush puts the cross-industry difference at roughly fourfold, and Similarweb ranks ChatGPT referrals second by conversion, right behind paid search. There are not many of them yet, but each one arrives already decided.
These are measurements of what fixing things achieves, not a promise from this plugin. The plugin shows you what is wrong on your own site.
Where the answer lies with your hosting provider, there is a "Copy message" button: ready text you simply forward to support, and they will know what to do. Where a separate plugin closes the issue, a button links straight to its page in the installer. And to size up server resources, the audit assembles a ready question you can paste into an AI assistant.
The plugin subscribes to no events and takes no part in rendering pages. It does not run for your visitors - it runs when you open its screen in the admin panel. It has no database tables of its own, it modifies no site files, and it collects no personal data. Uninstallation was verified separately on a clean installation: the plugin removes only its own traces and touches nothing else.
Exactly one request leaves the server, and it goes to your own site. It measures the response time and looks at what the page returns. Nothing is sent to us or to any third party.
The plugin is free in full, with no locked sections and no trial period. The reasoning is simple: until you can see the state of your own site, any conversation about improving it is a conversation in the dark.
And the other side of it, stated plainly: some findings are closed by hosting settings and your own work, and some by our paid plugins, which is why those items carry a button linking to the right one. We say this openly, because hidden advertising inside a free audit would devalue the audit itself. Whether you install them is up to you - the list of findings is useful either way.
Honest about how it works. This is diagnostics, not treatment: the plugin does not speed the site up itself, does not change server settings, does not edit your theme, does not add markup for you, and guarantees no search positions or AI mentions. It sees what is visible from the site's own environment: an external cache, a protection layer or a load balancer sitting in front of the site stays outside its view. And it is a snapshot taken at the moment you run it, not continuous monitoring - worth repeating after a change of hosting, theme or settings.
