Import XLSX stock receipts, stock change history.
The Excel Stock Receipts plugin helps you quickly receive products from an XLSX file. Instead of editing every SKU manually, an administrator uploads a prepared spreadsheet, and the plugin finds the products, increases their stock quantities, and updates the supplied catalog data.
The plugin is suitable for processing regular supplier deliveries, setting up a new store, performing bulk price updates, and transferring stock receipts from accounting systems or supplier spreadsheets.
The plugin processes the first worksheet of an XLSX file. The base columns must appear in the following order:
0 or 1.Additional product features may follow the five base columns. The feature list and column order are configured in the plugin settings.
The header row is optional. Empty rows are skipped, and the incoming quantity must be greater than zero. Purchase and retail prices must be non-negative numbers.
If a price or availability cell is empty, the current value of that field remains unchanged.
While processing a row, the plugin can simultaneously increase stock, update the purchase and retail prices, and change whether the SKU is available for order.
The “Available for order” column uses the native Shop-Script format:
1 — the SKU is available for order;0 — the SKU is not available for order. For every processed SKU, the history stores the previous and new stock quantity, purchase price, retail price, and availability values.
In the plugin settings, you can select features from the Shop-Script catalog, add them to the import format, and arrange them in the required order using drag and drop.
Each selected feature becomes a separate XLSX column after the “Available for order” field. Regular features are saved for the product, while features available for individual SKUs are saved for the corresponding SKU.
The values before and after the import are also stored for updated features.
This makes it possible to use the import not only for receiving stock but also for filling catalog data such as manufacturer, country of origin, collection, material, supplier, and other product features.
A sample download button is available on the plugin page. The file is generated automatically according to the current settings and contains the first 10 products from the store.
The sample includes SKU codes, current purchase and retail prices, order availability, and the values of selected features. The example incoming quantity is set to one.
You can use the sample as a starting point for a new receipt: remove or replace the example rows, paste the supplier data, and upload the file back to the plugin.
Every upload is stored as a separate session. The session list shows the date, file name, number of rows, successfully processed items, and errors.
You can open a session to review all completed changes. The history displays before and after values for:
For large files, the history can be displayed in pages of 50, 250, or 500 rows, or all records can be shown at once.
Every successfully processed row is written to the native Shop-Script stock change log as an import operation. The log stores the original and resulting stock quantity of the SKU.
The plugin also keeps its own detailed session history containing price, availability, and feature changes.
The plugin increases the total stock quantity of a SKU and does not distribute incoming quantities among individual Shop-Script warehouses.
Purchase price, retail price, and availability are updated only when the corresponding XLSX cell contains a value. An empty cell keeps the current field value unchanged.
The plugin does not use external services and does not modify Webasyst or Shop-Script core files.
