Buyers increasingly search with their eyes - they point a camera or upload a photo and ask «find similar». Your photo enters that search only if the machine understood what is in it. Schema.org markup is a caption for every shot in a language search engines and AI read directly: what this photo is, which album it belongs to, where the file itself lives. The plugin adds it for you - no code, no theme edits.

Per Google, 2024, Lens handles about 20 billion visual searches a month, and per Alphabet, Q4 2025, almost one in six queries in AI mode is already non-text - voice or an image. In Russia, Yandex (the country's leading search engine) reports every second person has searched by photo, its Smart Camera used by over 3 million people a day (Yandex, 2025). Both Google and Yandex say the same in their webmaster docs: without text next to an image it barely ranks - and that text is exactly what markup hands the machine.

What you get

Three wins - three reasons each

Work stands out in search

  • A photo shows with its caption and album, not as a nameless file lost inside the page's raw code.
  • An album enters results as a gallery with a date and breadcrumbs - rich results get clicked more (Google cases: Nestlé +82%, Rotten Tomatoes +25%).
  • The JSON-LD format the plugin adds is officially recommended by Google itself.

AI understands your shots

  • Markup tells the machine directly: this is a photo, here is the caption, the album, the file - no guessing from code full of counters and banners.
  • Almost one in six queries in Google's AI mode is already non-text - voice or an image (Alphabet, Q4 2025).
  • A photo's author with their own page is an expertise signal (E-E-A-T) that both search and AI weigh.

Runs on its own

  • You write nothing by hand: the markup is built from your albums, photos and their captions.
  • Photos, gallery albums, breadcrumbs and the organization card are marked up automatically.
  • One connected document, no duplicates - passes validator.schema.org and Google Rich Results.
How search and AI decide what to show

The same photo - two different endings

When image search or an AI prepares an answer, it looks at your photo page. The difference is what it actually sees there - and that decides whether your shot shows in results and whether AI references it.

Without markup

  1. The system sees the page's raw code: menus, banners, counters, scripts - and guesses where the shot is, what is on it and how it is captioned.
  2. The image goes into the index with no caption or context - search has nothing to show it for.
  3. The AI is unsure what the photo is and leaves your shot out of the answer.

→ the work is shot and paid for, but absent from search

With markup

  1. The system reads a ready card for the shot: caption, album, the file's own address - without parsing raw HTML.
  2. The image is indexed with a caption and context - and takes part in image search.
  3. The assistant relies on your shot and links to your page.

→ the buyer finds the work and comes to you

Why an image needs text

Search ranks the caption, not the pixels

Google states it plainly in its docs: the caption is the single most important image attribute, and the context around it strongly affects where the image can appear. Yandex says the same: image ranking uses the text related to the picture, and a caption is required. The trouble is that on an ordinary page this text is mixed with menus, buttons and counters - and the machine has to guess what belongs to the photo and what does not.

Markup removes the guessing. It states, separately and in machine language: here is the caption for this exact shot, here is its title and album, here is the direct address of the original file. Search engines and AI do not parse the layout - they get the facts about the shot directly and clean.

AI search and image search

Markup is the language machines read your photos in

An assistant on a phone, in a browser or a speaker does not study your site carefully - it passes the query to its AI model, which builds the answer from AI search. What a shot depicts, how it is captioned and where the original lives are easier and more reliable to take from markup than to guess from page code. Markup is a caption on every shot: «this is such-and-such work, here is the album, here is the file».

Who reads a structured site and its images

  • ChatGPTChatGPT
  • GeminiGemini
  • PerplexityPerplexity
  • ClaudeClaude
  • GoogleGoogle
  • Google LensGoogle Lens
  • BingBing
  • DeepSeekDeepSeek
  • YandexYandex
  • Alice AIAlice AI

Also covers Yandex and Alice - Russia's leading search engine and AI assistant, used by tens of millions a month, both of which read Schema.org. The clearer your shots are to a machine, the better the chance of landing in such an answer.

What the plugin marks up automatically

You post the work - the plugin describes it for machines

  • Photos - caption, title, album, publish date and the direct address of the original file: a full machine card for every shot (ImageObject). The publish date is when a shot was posted to the site, not when it was taken.
  • Albums - as a gallery with a list of shots (ImageGallery): the machine sees this is a collection of work, not a random page.
  • Breadcrumbs - Home → Photos → Album, with working links.
  • Organization - name, logo, contacts: the company's «passport» for search and AI.
  • Author and shooting data premium - the photo author's page (an expertise signal) and EXIF data: camera, shutter speed, ISO. GPS coordinates and the shooting date are never output.

Nothing extra leaks out. Only what is already open to a visitor gets marked up: published albums and photos. Hidden and non-public shots stay out of the markup, and the protected address of a private photo never leaves. The author name is taken only from contact fields - login and email never enter the markup.

Stronger together

llms.txt guides AI through the section, markup describes each shot

These are parts of one system for preparing a site for AI search, and they do not replace one another. llms.txt is a map: it shows the AI where your sections and albums are, where to go. JSON-LD markup is the meaning of each page: what is on this shot, who the author is, which album it is from - and the machine does not have to parse raw HTML full of counters and layout clutter to learn it. Social preview is a clean card with the shot when the link is shared in messengers, so a person clicks through to you. Together they give AI a full map, exact facts about every photo, and live distribution.

Three plugins from the one KakTak.Net line - map, meaning and preview - prepare a work section for AI search together. One style, one support, one ecosystem.

Base and premium

Base - one site; premium - all domains plus author and EXIF

Base 1 domain

  • The site's main domain.
  • Full markup: photos, gallery albums, breadcrumbs, organization.
  • Built-in duplicate-markup check.

Premium multi-domain

  • All storefronts on different domains - at once, automatically.
  • Photo author (Person) - an expertise signal for author galleries.
  • EXIF shooting data - camera, shutter speed, ISO for equipment catalogs and photographers.
How it works

Quietly, in the background, without you

  • Turn it on - and the plugin adds correct markup to photo and album pages itself. No code to write, no theme to touch.
  • Data stays current: captions, albums and addresses come from the shots themselves.
  • No speed impact: the markup lives in the page's service part and is cached.
  • A built-in check shows what is marked up and warns if the theme outputs its own markup (a duplicate hurts).

Honest about how it works. Markup is not a direct ranking boost - Google says so plainly. But it is exactly what makes your shots eligible for image search and rich results and lets search engines and AI reference them with confidence - without it, that simply does not happen. The plugin does not retouch photos or write captions for you: it turns work you already posted into cards a machine reads without guessing. The rest is up to the search engines, and your part is to post the shots and caption them like a human. Strongest paired with the llms.txt map and a clean share preview.
