Gemini plugin for the Multilang app adds high-quality automatic translation powered by Google Gemini API. It helps quickly translate titles, descriptions, SEO fields, and other website/store texts while preserving formatting and important text elements.

Key features of the Gemini plugin.

• Translation via Gemini API with the ability to choose the current model (the list of models is loaded from the API using your key).
• Glossary of terms: set the correct translation variants for brands, names, and fixed phrases for each language. Matches are searched by exact occurrence with case sensitivity, and multiple rules are applied at once.
• Post-processing: the "Replace long dash with standard dash" option for consistent typography.
• Rate limiting: Flexible configuration of the number of requests per minute. This is necessary to "work around" limits, allowing you to automate translations when using free models.
• Custom prompt: Configure custom rules for translating content.
• Support for languages installed in Webasyst: glossary fields are generated according to the languages available in the installation.

How to use it?

1. Install the Gemini plugin in the Multilang app.
2. Open the plugin settings and specify the API Key for Gemini.
3. Select a translation model from the list (it will appear after saving the key).
4. If needed, add rules to the "Glossary" and/or "Custom prompt" - specify the source phrase and the variants for the required languages.
5. Use the standard Multilang tools to translate content in the app itself, as well as in Shop-Script and others, by selecting Gemini as the provider.

Based on plugin testing experience, this level is usually enough mainly for checking functionality and translating small volumes: in practice, it quickly runs into limits, including requests per minute (RPM), which are resolved through fine-tuning in the plugin.
