Every topic in your community gets a live preview card - with the discussion type (Question, Idea, Discussion), title, reply count and your brand. Wherever a link to a question or discussion travels - WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, a work chat - instead of a bare URL people see a card that makes it obvious: there is a real conversation here, worth clicking into.

Posts with an image get 35% more retweets (Twitter), and a link with an image earns nearly twice the engagement of a bare link (Buffer, an analysis of 52M posts). The preview is exactly that image for your link, and Open Graph is the standard that makes it appear. The plugin sets it up for you - for every topic, no designer, no theme edits.

What people see in the chat

The same discussion link - two different endings

When a client shares a link to your question or discussion, the platform decides what to show. The difference is whether it found Open Graph markup - and that decides whether the person returns to your community or scrolls past.

Without Open Graph

  1. Someone shares a link to one of your community topics.
  2. The platform finds no markup - shows a bare URL, or pulls a random image and the wrong text.
  3. It is unclear what's there - a live discussion or an empty page.

→ the link is scrolled past, no click

With the plugin

  1. The same link in the same chat.
  2. The platform reads Open Graph and shows a topic card: discussion type, title, reply count and your brand.
  3. It's obvious at a glance - there is a live conversation people are already in.

→ the person clicks and returns to you

A channel you already have

Every shared topic brings a person back to your community

Links to discussions are shared every day - in private chats and messengers, where the card decides whether the link gets clicked. The plugin turns any link to any topic into a live preview with your brand - and returns attention to where you are in charge.

  • Your clients - when they forward a useful question or answer to a chat.
  • You - when you share a topic in a newsletter, social profile or client conversation.
  • Community members - when they point others to a discussion about the same thing.

And that matters: much of sharing happens through private "dark" channels - messengers and direct messages - where a good preview card is what decides the click. Your community lives on your own domain, under your control: you are the moderator, and the members and content stay with you, not on someone else's social network.

What it looks like

The card shows the topic type and reply count at a glance

This is what a plain preview doesn't have: a colored topic-type badge in the corner (Question, Idea, Discussion, Bug report, Article) and the reply count. Before the click, a person already knows what kind of conversation it is and how alive it is.

Question topic card: purple badge Question · 7 answers, title and community domain

A question - purple badge and an answer counter. You can see the question already has replies.

Discussion topic card: cyan badge Discussion · 31 comments, topic title

A discussion - cyan badge. The comment count signals the topic is alive.

Idea topic card: green badge Idea · 12 comments, suggestion title

An idea - green badge. Each topic type gets its own color automatically.

Bug report topic card: red badge Bug report · 9 comments, report title

A bug report - red badge. The type and counter come straight from your community.

Counts are worded correctly: 1 answer, 2 answers. The badge and counter can be turned off if you don't need them.

Branded to you

The card looks like yours, not like a template

Ready-made color presets, your own background or a photo from the topic, a logo, the community name and a benefit line - the card assembles itself and looks on-brand.

Topic card with a photo background: badge Discussion · 34 comments, review title

Background from the topic's photo - reviews and stories look especially alive.

Knowledge-base article card: blue badge Article · 5 comments, green preset

One of the ready color presets - pick your own or set your brand colors.

What the card can show:

  • The topic type and reply count - or hide them.
  • Your logo, community name and the topic title.
  • A background from the topic photo or your brand color.
  • A short benefit line and a footer with your domain.

Fonts ship with the plugin - text on the card renders equally cleanly on any hosting, including Cyrillic.

Why it brings clients

The card works before the click

  • More clicks. A card with a topic badge and counter stops the eye better than a blue link - the brain reads an image in 13 milliseconds (MIT), before it reads any text.
  • Back to your community. A shared link leads back to the discussion where you are the moderator, not to a social network with someone else's rules.
  • Trust before the visit. People see a real conversation with real people, not an empty page.
  • Zero manual work. The image is assembled from topic data and cached - create a topic, and the card is ready.
Where it works

One standard - every platform

The plugin sets the standard Open Graph, Twitter / X Cards and oEmbed tags - read by messengers, social networks and work chats:

  • WhatsAppWhatsApp
  • FacebookFacebook
  • LinkedInLinkedIn
  • RedditReddit
  • X (Twitter)X (Twitter)
  • TelegramTelegram
  • SlackSlack
  • DiscordDiscord
  • PinterestPinterest

From a LinkedIn post to a Reddit thread or a Slack workspace - anywhere a link lands, the card follows. Working with the Russian-speaking market too? VK, Odnoklassniki, Zen, TenChat and Viber render the same Open Graph cards. Extras: fb:app_id for Facebook, Pinterest domain verification, Twitter / X accounts, Dublin Core - each tag set toggles separately.

Technically clean

Fast, conflict-free, no server load

  • The preview image is generated once and cached - no load on the site, no impact on speed.
  • The plugin does not duplicate tags your theme already outputs - one clean og: set, no conflicts.
  • Works with both GD and Imagick - whichever your hosting has.
  • A built-in check in the settings shows exactly what a topic serves - see the result without external services.
Stronger together

The preview is your discussion's storefront; reinforce it with search and AI visibility

These are parts of one KakTak.Net system for your community. Open Graph previews - how a discussion link looks to people in chats. Schema.org (JSON-LD) markup - how search engines and AI understand your discussions and Q&A. llms.txt - a clean map of your community for AI agents. Together they cover the whole journey: the link gets noticed - search and AI understand - the client arrives.

A link is shared OG card - noticed JSON-LD - search gets it llms.txt - AI gets it the client is yours

One KakTak.Net line - one style, one support, one ecosystem. Start with previews and add the rest as you need them.

Base and premium

Base is one domain - all domains in premium

Base one domain

  • Your primary community domain.
  • The full tag set and a topic card with type and counter.
  • Presets, contacts, a benefit line, your colors and logo.

Premium multi-domain

  • All community storefronts on different domains - at once, automatically.
  • A separate brand, colors and contacts per domain.
  • For anyone running several sites from one panel.
How it works

Quietly, in the background, hands-off

  • Turn it on - and every community topic gets markup and a preview card. No code to write, no theme to touch.
  • The image is generated on first request and cached; change the card design - it rebuilds itself.
  • Full control: separate tag sets, card preview, a built-in check and settings reset.

Honest by design. The final look of the card is decided by the platform itself, and some cache previews on their side - after changes an update can take time (Telegram and Facebook have their own link debuggers). Open Graph is not a ranking trick; it is what makes your links noticeable, clickable and trustworthy. This plugin does not add search markup (JSON-LD) - our line has a separate plugin for that.
